I am a 4th generation attorney, and a living example of the fact that there is no such thing as free will. I grew up in Los Angeles, where my dad was/is a criminal defense attorney and my mom was a dentist. At the dinner table, I always wanted to hear about what had happened in court that day. I always knew I wanted to be a lawyer, but out of college, I got diverted for two years working for PepsiCo in New York on the Mountain Dew brand team. While Doing the Dew is as fun as it sounds, I learned quickly that I'd rather advocate for people than a green soda. I went to law school at Stanford and met Shanin Specter, founder of Kline & Specter, P.C. in Philadelphia, who sold me on being a plaintiffs' lawyer. After graduating from law school in 2018, I went to work at Panish Shea Boyle Ravipudi, where I worked with Rob Glassman. In 2021 my wife and I decided we wanted less space and worse weather, so we moved to NYC, and I joined Merson Law. In my 5 years since graduating, I've tried about 10 cases--some wins, draws, and losses--and loved every minute of it. My great friend Jon Davidi and I cannot wait to teach our class at TLU on direct examinations and voir dire.
